Pediatric Surgery
Introduction
The Division of Pediatric Surgery offers diagnostic, consultative and treatment
services for children with a broad range of surgical disorders, including diseases
of the lungs, esophagus, large and small intestine, liver, spleen and lymph nodes.
Included are soft tissue diseases, tumors, congenital anomalies and complications
of systemic illnesses. Neonates are cared for jointly with members of the Division
of Newborn Medicine, and patients with intestinal problems are cared for jointly
with members of the Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology.
